In the past year, I have now overcome my crippling fear of running again and I realize I had to stop brute forcing my way and finding a community that inspires me Now I know you’re probably thinking: “Absolutely no way. How is a community going to fix it? Plus you’re too afraid of people judging you to even run a mile outside, how are you gonna find a community?” But, at the end of the day, we’re social animals. Doing things alone will get you far in the beginning. But for you to sustain that drive and fire, you need to feed off of like minded people. It only takes seeing others go through the fire to get yours back. Because when your brain sees something it once perceived as impossible become possible in front of your own eyes, it changes you. You cannot let your fear shrink you into submission because if you do, you’ll never know how far you could’ve gone. Sometimes it’s not the brute force that gives you your courage back. Sometimes it’s seeing others do the impossible that make you go “if they can do it, why can’t I?”  #runningcommunity
