I’m so glad you saged that place!! And I would definitely have someone look over the paperwork, and see where the mess up was from the original contracts you signed! Glad you love your new home, I’ve bought 2 homes (one from out of state when we moved from CO to GA) and NEVER experienced anything close to this!!

Did your atty send you the contract to review? Not blaming you for not knowing what to look for, just curious if she did. She absolutely should’ve caught that. My divorce atty is kind of the same. Unless I catch something she doesn’t just outright say, “here’s their proposal and he’s what they changed.” Drives me nuts and I will never use her or recommend her. WE ARE NOT ATTY’s! We don’t know wtf to look for in the contract.

Hold on.. didn’t the purchase contract say he was to pay those fees??? I hear attorney fees so you’re in either TX or NY either way your purchase contract should be honored and I’m trippin that they changed it at the table.. wondering who your lender is smh
