What if you only had $10,000? In this video, I’m sharing the exact covered call framework I would personally use if I were starting over with a $10,000 account. My goal would be to generate monthly option income, reinvest the premiums, and allow compounding to work over time. Here’s the framework I would follow: • Focus on mid-cap companies with a market cap of at least $2 billion. • Use BarChart as my primary stock screener. • Look for stocks with an IV Rank above 40%. • Focus on covered calls that expire in approximately 3 to 4 weeks so I can potentially repeat the process every month. • Look for a put-to-call ratio between 0.2 and 0.7. I want to avoid stocks where traders are aggressively betting on a decline. • Since I’m starting with only $10,000, I would focus on stocks around $15 or less per share so I can build multiple positions rather than concentrating all my money in one stock. • Because lower-priced stocks can carry additional risk, I would look for companies with multiple revenue streams, government contracts, strategic partnerships, or support from larger companies and industries. • Every month I would evaluate the positions, collect option premium where appropriate, reinvest proceeds, and continue following the same process. • During bearish markets, I would consider adding a collar strategy to help reduce downside risk. My personal goal would be to focus on consistency, risk management, and patience rather than trying to get rich quickly. The numbers discussed in this video are based on assumptions, historical observations, and my own research. Actual results can vary significantly, and there are no guarantees in investing. ⚠️ DISCLAIMER ⚠️ This is NOT financial advice. This video is for educational and entertainment purposes only. I am simply sharing what I am personally researching, studying, and doing with my son as part of our investing journey. I am not telling you to buy, sell, or invest in any stock, option, ETF, or other investment.
