@b00tybyjacks: Hip thrusts are THE #1 exercise for glute development but most people are accidentally turning them into a quad or lower back exercise. Feel it where it counts: Drive through your HEELS, not your toes Tuck your chin to your chest (stop looking at the ceiling!) Squeeze your glutes HARD at the top and pause for 1–2 seconds Keep your ribcage DOWN. If your back arches, your spine is taking over Push your knees OUT in line with your toes throughout the movement That glute squeeze at the top? Non-negotiable. If you're not feeling it burn, you're probably not pausing long enough or your feet are too far forward. Save this for your next leg day 🦵

As a hyper mobile person with a very sensitive lower back who’s been injured before. The scoop method actually saved my hipthrusts… it allowed me to put less pressure on my lower back and actually engage my glutes. Also Bret Contreras (inventor of hipthrust) says both are equally effective and it depends on how it feels for you. Just saying this for the confused girlies out there, like me before ❤️
