the i love you one isn’t just me?? im not diagnosed but my diagnosed partner is convinced i have it and that is a very very big thing for me is that we have to both say i love you before bed, leaving the house or even just leaving to take the rubbish out or smth because if i dont then smth might happen .. did not know this was a shared experience 😭

I’d die . Esp the I love you one. If I don’t say I love you and be careful then something will horrifically happen to them and will be hurt or killed all because I didn’t say it

The first time I didn’t say I love you and drive safe to my husband before he left for work, he was in a horrible car accident and it haunts me. I know rationally that actually isn’t how it works, but oh boy it took a WHILE to get over that unnecessary guilt.

Idk about others, but for me I’ve been from a young age to say “i love you” or at least give a kiss on the cheek whenever you or someone leaves, you just never know when it will be the last time you see them

The only issue with the clothing advice, is that you’re going to be in the headspace something bad will happen which will then focus all your energy on every tiny negative thing that does. Speaking from experience

I fr think I have contamination ocd because all of these are things that sound like a horrible idea but the coughing one… I would sooner perform my own appendectomy.
