@bmarov: Since I started putting Islamic content online, I’ve noticed something that needs to be addressed. The people who come to troll our pages really fall into two categories. The first are just hateful and ignorant — probably no real faith of their own, they just like to talk. Honestly, who cares. But the second group is the one that concerns me, because it’s almost always Christians. Sometimes the comments are hateful, but most of the time it’s “Jesus will save you,” and I’ll assume they mean well by it. Here’s what I want you to notice though. We as Muslims don’t do that. You won’t find us on Christian pages leaving comments trying to call them away from their faith. We’re just not trolling like that. So my challenge is simple — show me the page where a Muslim is going onto Christian content and leaving these kinds of comments. You won’t find it, because we don’t carry that same insecurity. And that’s the real question. Why are we secure enough in our faith that we feel no need to do it, and why are you insecure enough that you have to come to my page and leave one of these? #islamic #muslimtiktok #islam #muslim #dawah
