Don’t think about the X. Think about your belt buckle and the buttons on your polo. Keep those in line when trying to cover the ball and you’ll swing down on it more. Having good posture in your swing is being able to control those two points in reference to the ball

He did the exact same swing and downswing except slower, that's what's causing his shanks, slow makes him not coordinate the movement, hasn't fixed anything
