Okay, but how do we cook the lentils to be cooked through but not too cooked and mushy? I either cook them too much and they're mush or too little. Do y'all have a trick? 😅

I throw lentils in with ground turkey in all kinds of things. Tacos, spaghetti, chili, pretty much whatever. It doesn’t affect the taste, it stretches out the meal a bit, and it adds fiber and protein. So good.

my husband hates lentils. he won't eat anything I make with them in it so I can't use them to cook. he likes all the other types of beans and legumes but he just doesn't like lentils. he says it's the texture.

I would love to learn more recipes with lentils that foesnt include tomatoes or any kind of chilies because Im allergic. Ive never had lentils before but trying to eay healthier.

Lentils are great! I have some issues with the “eating healthy is not expensive” thing cause I think it oversimplifies some of the issues. Mostly it’s more of an access to grocery stores and transportation to them thing than the actual cost of products. But maybe I’m Bean Soup-ing

At my preschool we made this dish that the kids went nuts and gobbled it right up. It was just lentils, jar of marinara and water. That’s it! It was everybody’s favorite meal. We were shocked.😂
