Guys a mama deer will NOT reject her baby if it’s touched !! If I’m correct, the mama deer often hides away from the baby while watching it, since a tiny deer can hide from predators better when it’s not with a big deer. After the poster left, mama likely checked on baby or saw baby still moving and forgot about it

Deer won't reject the baby if it's touched by a person, the mama is usually around and was probably watching this interaction. As someone who has saved lots of babies, their mama always comes to their rescue and takes them to safety.

guys the thing about deers abandoning their babies was just so they could stop people from messing and touching wildlife. the baby with find its mum and wont get rejected don’t worry, but still keep in mind they are wild animals and you should try not to touch them.
