Instead, he was found wandering the streets alone, confused, hungry, and searching for someone who never came back for him. After bringing him to safety, we discovered the heartbreaking truth: he had been abandoned by the person he trusted most. Despite everything he’s been through, this sweet senior boy still greets people with gentle eyes and a hopeful heart. Every day, he waits patiently at his kennel door, hoping that someone will finally choose him. Someone who will show him that not all humans leave. He has now been at our shelter for over two months. Day after day, potential adopters walk past his kennel. Day after day, he waits. Unfortunately, our shelter is running out of space. As difficult as it is to say, if he is not adopted soon, he will be placed on the euthanasia list. This precious senior doesn’t deserve for his story to end this way. Please don’t let his final chapter be one of loneliness and heartbreak. Give him the chance to know what it feels like to be loved again.
