I’ve never cried so much since starting my healing journey after spending so many years feeling nothing

I think sadness, like any emotion, is okay to feel, process, and express. 😊

Thank you, not often I find new information about nervous system. I am the one who is afraid of sadness, because it feels like depression in the beginning. Greetings from the Netherlands

Sadness is often the language of the soul, trying to tell us something important. It reminds us to slow down and pay attention instead of running away from our feelings. Sometimes it points to a loss that needs to be accepted and healed. Other times it reveals an old emotional pattern rather than the truth of the present moment. When we listen to sadness with curiosity instead of fear, it can become a guide rather than an enemy. Understanding its message helps us grow, heal, and move forward with greater clarity.

This came at the exact right time. After years of therapy I’ve now found myself giving into the sadness and feel safe feeling vulnerable around safe people. It’s such a new feeling I’ve felt ashamed in some ways for feeling it but I know it’s a natural response and is normal behaviour. Thanks Keith 🌸

I had severe headache depression. When the headache suddenly disappeared i got into heavy sadness. Wow. I cried several hours today. Now i can finally go outside and do stuff. ❤️Dont ever hold and store shitty things that happen inside your body.

I'm wondering if it's basically the same with fear, like we can interchange sadness with fear

This is so true. When I finally fully allowed my heart to break open, I had the most profound spiritual experience in my life. Jesus appeared to me and flooded me with more love than I had ever experienced in my life, and told me how proud he was of me, and to keep going

A very good reminder. Often I use humour to shield me from my sadness. I know I have to allow myself to be sad too
