Genuinely I have never had a good experience at Benihana, it literally always is like “oh, cool, you made a reservation! Now wait 1.5 hours past your reservation time in a room that smells like smoke for food you could get that would taste better as takeout from a local restaurant”

Not overreacting. To be completely honest, after Sakura and Ah-so in Phoenix, Benihana is so overrated. We went to the one in Anaheim and the food was really bland.

Truly? Thats when I don’t tip. And I say that as a former server. Because if they upset my table like that I would raise hell with my manager until they fixed it. And if the server had pushed the issue, the manager would’ve fixed it. The server thought she was going to get a bigger tip by enforcing the higher pricing. Period.
