im just learned capital one closed all their physical branches. I have credit cards w them but hysa w american express

Yup that’s what I do. The gas station near me lets me pull from them but I mainly used it for the hysa. I have 2 other banks a credit union and a national chain

I have an online only bank as my main bank and worry about this in event of a real emergency and don’t have days to transfer funds, but the brick and mortars don’t have as good rates.
