They cancelled avenged sevenfold too for rain/lightening. I have literally watched them in a storm. They came back and played again later in the year. Pine knob is definitely not my fave venue.

Oh my gosh. In hartford we had severe thunderstorms including lighting, thunder, the rain was SOOOO bad the entire show. We literally had a shelter in place. And when I mean the entire show the weather was literally so bad I mean it. But he still played!

I'm glad you don't get mad at the artist for the cancelation because 99% of the time when they cancel due to weather its the venue not the artist and the artist has zero say in it.

I wasn't there, but I have a lot of respect for him trying to stay out there for the fans. Some artists would have taken off without second thought for the crowd. You can tell he was upset. Kudos MGK!
