Give you this very brief instruction in regards to that, members. The jury, you're about to visit and go by a number of places that you've heard testimony about during the trial." "The terminology we use for that, as I've said, is a view. Now, the purpose of the view is to help you better understand the evidence that you've heard and will hear during the trial, and to help you appreciate the location, the surroundings about these different areas." "Now, the view that you're going to take is part of the case. The observations that you make while on the view may be used by you and considered by you in your deliberations in reaching a verdict." "The attorneys will point out certain things they may want you to take note of, but you can look at everything as far as just view it. When you're in there, you're not to do any independent research, not to kind of open up draws or open up doors or anything like that." "So the the attorneys will give you an opportunity. We'll give you an opportunity to just kind of look around and view that. And so, after that, you're not to return to the scene. In other words, after you do this, you're not to go back if you have these unanswered questions or anything like that. You're not to go back.
