When I coached track (about 50 years ago), we had a 1/5th mile Cinderella track.Our runners took that last curve to their advantage every time.

In the era I ran in I was considered one of the best curve runners, oh at 5’7” I clocked a 10 flat 100 just saying .but more coaches need to teach this
