One thing I love about being aroace is that we can explore all the possibilities of what attraction can be outside of what is considered romantic/sexual and I find that so cool. Not every relationship can be described with the labels that exist in our languages

In response to caption, you can be a type of aroace called Oriented Aroace! Basically you feel a strong type of attraction separate from romantic/sexual (strong enough that you know you feel it despite it not being a romantic feeling or otherwise)

I can say it with my chest here but not irl: i like the idea of kissing my friends on the lips, i currently tell them that i love them very often, and if any of them asked to marry me i’d most likely say yes. The three of them are my light and i’d die in a heartbeat if they needed me to and i’d live to be 200 if they asked me on a whim. They’ll probably never feel the same back, but maybe i’ll be in their lives long enough for them to understand. AV, CD, AM, yall have my heart

I always feel bad, im aroacespec but feel like im incapable of alterous attraction:(. which is fine, but it gets talked about so much in the community that I feel like im not a "good" aroace for not being capable of those feelings 😭. like I feel platonic love often and have felt romantic love only once in my life, but my mind/heart doesn't seem to feel capable of feeling something in between. and I feel bad for fellow aroace friends who have hinted at wanting a qpr, but I have no desire for one :((
