The thing about being a woman is… we forget. We forget that our biology was never meant to function like a man’s. That the world we were raised in, one built on studies of men, for men…taught us to measure our worth by how linear, consistent, and productive we could be. But we are not meant to move in straight lines. We are cyclical. Fluid. Ever-changing. Our hormones, energy, and emotions dance through seasons every month, and yet we’ve been made to feel broken for not being the same every day. We forget that change doesn’t always look like a grand transformation. Sometimes it feels slow. Quiet. Almost invisible. Our bodies change. Our hearts change. Our dreams change. And that’s not failure, it’s our nature. I remember a time when I questioned myself constantly. When I thought something was wrong because I wasn’t moving as fast as I “should.” When I compared my pace to a world designed for men and wondered if I was behind. What I’ve learned is that those seasons matter. They are the soft spaces between chapters. The hidden work before breakthroughs. The deep rest before rebirth. Maybe the real initiation of womanhood isn’t how gracefully we rebuild, but how deeply we honor the in-between. How we hold ourselves through the ebb and flow. How we remember that our complexity is sacred—not something to fix or shrink. ✨ Today I choose to honor the rhythm of my becoming. ✨ Today I choose to trust that every season has a purpose. What’s something you’ve forgotten is normal as a woman?
