Personally, I've always found English humour to be some of the funniest in the world. A lot of football chants are part of that culture—cheeky, sarcastic, and not meant to be taken as a declaration of hatred.
Organisations come and go, rules change, but a good laugh has always been part of being human. In a world that can sometimes take itself very seriously, humour can bring people together, relieve tension, and remind us not to lose perspective.
That said, if organisers 🇺🇸are going to restrict certain chants, they should be upfront about it before fans spend thousands attending an event. Transparency and accountability matter too.
