I feel like the people saying “i didn’t see it so you’re good” are missing the point. It doesn’t matter if you can or can’t see someone’s disability, the point is that everyone should be supported no matter what. The idea that since you can’t see it means it’s “good” implies that if you could see it then it wouldn’t be, which I feel like goes against the point. Also awesome cosplay! It looks really good!

Guys, saying "I didn't even notice it" can be hurtful to some people even if you're not lying. I have invisible disabilities and sometimes I wish people were able to "see" them, and therefore cut me some slack when I'm having a bad day. You don't know if a creator wants you to flatter them by being like "Omg girl it's not even visible dw". It sounds fake and makes disabilities look like no big deal. It's a part of the person and their journey, and should be acknowledged as well as accepted by everyone (without minimalising the individual to their disability ofc). This video has a really important message, you should be focusing on that instead of virtue signalling. Amazing Varesa cosplay btw!
