i truly believe the movie would've been 10x better if they didn't end up together. I imagined an alternative ending in which kathryn's character is a successful Doctor and Daniel's character is a successful musician, they both have the happiness they want and achieved their goals.

ngl kahit na sabihin ng lahat na hinfu na dapat sila nagkabalikan given all the reasons why it’s best to stay as each other’s lesson, kagaya ng sinabi ng bff ni kath dyan sa movie “hindi ka naman masaya”. at the end of the day pinili nila na mahalin isa’t isa as a better version of themselves, and if it doesn’t work out, then at least they gave it a chance and answered “the hows of us”
