‘FARMING SHOULD NOT BE DANGEROUS'- I never imagined that simply trying to farm, feed my community, and teach the next generation could put my life in danger. I came here from Texas after a hurricane because I wanted safe place to grow food. Our mission has always been simple: ‘FARMERS SAVE LIVES’ I am not perfect. My family is not perfect. But we are passionate about our mission, and we have continued to choose love, service, food, education, and community even through some of the hardest circumstances imaginable. Right now, I am asking you to continue keeping your eyes on what is happening to keep us alive. I have experienced threats and intimidation that have left me genuinely afraid for my life. Yesterday, I was threatened. The day before, another threat. Most recently, a woman I have never met publicly stated that she would use Colorado's “Make My Day” law to harm me and get away with it. We are deeply concerned about possible connections these stalkers have within the local law-enforcement community, and I am asking for these concerns to be taken seriously and investigated. I don't want to die. I don't want my family planning my funeral. I don't want you standing beside a casket wondering why it took my death for people to do something about this. I just want to farm in peace. I am asking for accountability, protection, and peace for me, my animals and my family. And I am going to keep choosing light and positivity to drown out any negativity. To every person who has shared our story, watched, documented, prayed, spoken up, checked on us, supported the ranch, or simply refused to look away, THANK YOU. Your eyes on this matter. Your voices matter. Your support matters. Please keep watching. Please keep sharing. Please keep demanding peace and accountability. Bottom line, I should not have to worry about being in a casket simply because I chose to become a farmer in El Paso County Colorado.#FarmersSaveLives #FreedomAcresRanch #Farmers #peace #colorado
