I disagree because I’ve been begging him to get a vasectomy for six years. SIX YEARS. I don’t want another kid I’ve ALWAYS said I didn’t want another kid and yet when I go to get my tubes tied I find out I’m pregnant. He refuses to allow it to be adopted out and if i demand it he said its immediate divorce. Abortion? Immediate divorce. I don’t want a divorce and I don’t want to have to split custody on our LIVING child. But he gets to refuse to eliminate the threat of getting me pregnant. And yes birth control was in fact in use. And it STILL happened. He has 100% control over all of this whatever he wants I either get to go along with it or “face consequences” of not keeping this child I’ve never ever wanted. Because keeping a kid who is unwanted is apparently better than sending the kid to a family that DOES fully want it for the sake of “not abandoning blood”.

I think shes wrong. Considering how many risks a woman has through pregnancy. A woman is allowed to choose to terminate without consent of the man(because it again is just a clump of cells in the very beginning)

Yes it’s also his child, but it’s her body. She’s the one who is gonna spend 9 months in pure pain everyday. She’s the one who may die in the process of giving birth. She’s the one who’s gonna be affected by the pregnancy. Not the man. So yes, the man should states his opinion, but it’s her body and her life that’s gonna be affected. Not his.
