@drivenbybeauty: There is a growing amount of misinformation online surrounding LED face masks, EMFs, and “dangerous frequencies.” Sadly fear has become a marketing strategy… So I went directly to ARPANSA, Australia’s national radiation safety authority, and reviewed the available guidelines and evidence for myself. According to ARPANSA, there is currently NO substantiated scientific evidence that low level EMF exposure below Australian safety standards causes adverse health effects in the general population. We are exposed to electromagnetic fields every single day through phones, Wi-Fi, appliances, electricity infrastructure, transport systems, and modern technology. Welcome to life babe. Context matters. ✅ Exposure level matters. ✅ Evidence matters. ✅ 🚨 This does NOT invalidate people who may experience sensitivities or symptoms. It is vastly different and in two different contexts. When you see skin conditions, dust can be the enemy. Vacuums are friends 👍 But there is a VITAL difference between discussing individual experiences and making broad scientific claims that create fear in everyday consumers. This is cognitive dissonance. What concerns me is the rise of fear-based marketing and websites selling “protection” products by convincing people that standard beauty devices are dangerous without credible evidence to support those claims. This is exactly how misinformation spreads. 😫 2% of what you see online is factual…The best thing we can do is stay informed, read reputable sources, and make decisions based on evidence… not fear. Science has suggested that if you grow up in environments less regulated than ours - children can be susceptible to diseases. But who lives within the legal vicinity of within powerlines?
