@soocanadian: Prime Minister Mark Carney said he had multiple interactions with U.S. President Donald Trump during the G7 summit in France, describing a series of informal exchanges over the past 36 hours. Carney said the two leaders spoke “7 or 8 times” during the summit, covering a wide range of issues including the economy, bilateral relations, artificial intelligence, Ukraine and Iran, as well as more general remarks. “Good discussions,” Carney said, describing the exchanges as frequent but informal. “There were 7 or 8 interactions over the course of the last 36 hours,” he said.
