Both stores have a Pistachio one as well, Sainsbury’s one is only in the locals though and they sold so well we can’t order them 😂

I tried both. sainsbury's wins hands down! at first I liked the look of the waitrose pastry more, but it occurred to be, as you said, so dry. I also had it fresh, got it in the morning, had around noon. it was dense and bready, the lamination on top looks great, but it seems like its just on top, weird. meanwhile the sainsbury's was light and airy and perfect amount of sweetness (could be even less sweet for me), and it's cheaper! so I would defo recommend the sainsbury's one, wont be buying waitrose again for sure. ✌️🙂
