Recently there are scammers out there trying to cause collision on expressways. Personally experience a car crawling to a complete stop while it notices from its rear mirror that I was having trouble lane changing, it slammed brake while I turn my head towards my blindspot. After avoiding that crash w a complete stop, that car infront of me sped off, with ample room infront of him. He had no reason to slow down to a stop on an expressway. Other than scam, I cannot think of any reason why he stopped while the road infront of him is clear.
