I think Steve frustration comes from he receives a pension because he paid into the system. Now regarding PIP, a lot of people need to educate themselves on this particular support given to people that have daily struggles it is not a mean test is benefits e.g. you can be self-employed or employed or unemployed and receive this payment. You don’t receive this payment because you’re on benefits and not working in fact you can work as little as 8 hours a week or 80 hours a week and still get this payment. It is because you have some form of disability and limitation that affect your daily life and when you comprehend that nobody should be grudge someone that payment, more importantly you’re thinking that they’re only getting that payment because they’re on benefits when in fact some of them will be employed or self-employed.
