In history we learned that Sir Stamford Raffles founded Singapore?The Statue of Raffles at collier Quay clearly stated should be removed. Sultan Hussein in history is true.He died and buried at sultan mosque compound.

It was the rift between the Malays and the Bugis. The latter sought protection from the Dutch while the British, taking the opportunity, offered protection for the Malays. After years of protection and “stipends”, the British demanded that the Malay Sultan recognised that nothing was for free.
