@new.man.codes: 10 things you think are normal but are actually signs you're operating from survival patterns. This should be taught in schools. Most men never question these behaviors. They call them personality. But survival patterns are not personality. They're adaptations. Things you learned to do because at some point they helped you stay safe. Here are 10 of the most common: 1. You hold back what you really think because speaking up always seemed to cost you. 2. You make yourself smaller in rooms where you actually have something valuable to say. 3. You laugh things off that genuinely hurt because that felt safer than being honest. 4. You can't sit in silence without reaching for your phone. 5. You say yes when your whole body is screaming no. 6. You feel guilty resting even when nobody is asking anything from you. 7. You over-explain decisions nobody questioned. 8. You stay busy because slowing down means feeling. 9. You read the room before you read yourself. 10. You're always three steps ahead because being caught off guard once came with consequences. None of these mean there’s something wrong with you. They mean you learned to survive in environments that didn't always feel safe. The goal isn't to fix yourself. The goal is to update the programs still running long after the danger has passed. That's the work. Body first. Mind follows. Compounding relief from the inside out. Comment "RESET" if you recognize yourself in this list and I'll send you the audio that starts the recalibration. #FatherWound #MensWork #GroundedMasculine #MensMentalHealth #USA
