Ride What Makes YOU Happy My journey started at 325 pounds. Today I’m around 260 and still working every day to become a healthier, stronger version of myself. Along the way I’ve heard it all: “That’s not a real bike.” “You’re cheating.” “You’re not a real cyclist.” What’s funny is sometimes those comments come from friends, family, or people closest to us. Meanwhile, complete strangers from around the world are cheering us on and supporting the effort. Here’s what I’ve learned: If you ride a road bike, awesome. If you ride a mountain bike, awesome. If you ride an e-bike, awesome. If you’re trying to improve your health, get outside, clear your mind, and become a better version of yourself, that’s what matters. My eMTB helped me get moving despite health challenges. It helped me lose weight, build confidence, explore new places, and become a stronger rider than I was yesterday. Met some incredible human beings along the way. Your journey isn’t my journey. My journey isn’t yours. Ride what makes YOU happy. When you’re 80 years old, nobody is going to care what bike you rode. What will matter are the memories you made, the places you explored, the challenges you overcame, and the life you lived. So if someone doesn’t like pedal-assist bikes, that’s okay. They don’t have to ride one. But they don’t get to define your success. Ride for yourself. Ride for your health. Ride for your happiness. And ride whatever the heck you want. 🚴‍♂️❤️ See you on the trail. #MensMentalHealth #YouMatter #you #cycling #meme
