I come to the door with pen and paper; ask them their name, company name, and ask to see the license for solicitation. I then tell them to read the sign. Afterwards I file a report online with the local police department.

I had a salesman cross our front gate one time with two beware of dog signs on it. I saw him in the yard before he got to my door. I have a 125pd pit and 140pd black lab/Rhodesian ridgeback. I gave him 5 seconds to leave then I opened the door. I’ve never seen someone run that fast. He slammed that gate and left.
