I have blocked him several times at this point, not as punishment. I blocked because it brings me peace. I first let him do what he wanted to, but when he started to cross my boundaries and telling me I must stop pretending, that's when I realised he's narcissistic and I had to block him to prevent further access.

I didn’t chase, I didn’t bag, I did not block them either, but I did mute their social media so I was given the space I needed to begin to heal from the discard blindside. This was the first time the discard happened and it will be the last. I’ve spent the last seven months growing for myself. It has never been about wanting them to return or making them jealous because I couldn’t care less if either of those things happen. I have realized my value and am so thankful every day that I kept my dignity. If I would have lost that, I believe that would be harder to accept then the discard itself.

After five years of a semi long distance relationship, I was dumped. Even though the weekend was fantastic and seemingly no different from other weekends over the last five years.. then on Monday, he said I don’t want to be a partner anymore. Totally blindsided but I never begged. I never got into long emotional texts nor did I block him and he hasn’t blocked me.
