this type of fuse has two check points - both points probed and should light green for a positive reading - if only one end lights up green - the other end red or not at all the fuse is dead - also a fuse that doesn't light up at either doesn't necessarily mean its blown - the fuse may be on an ignition control circuit where the ignition has to be turned to the on position.
