I would never want to be the ex that someone is still attached to. I always hope that the people who come into my life and eventually leave are able to move on, because I believe that’s the only way for two hearts to be genuinely happy. I guess this is true, it’s been 6yrs since we broke up but just this month, my ex of 4yrs chatted me again asking for a closure, a clear conversation of the two of us for the last time to finally say our goodbyes. I talk to him after 6yrs of not seeing each other, he told me he still keeps checking on me but he never bothered to do such things because he has a new girl already and was about to be a dad as well. Whenever he’s alone, he thinks of me in the middle of nowhere, thinking what would it be if we end up together. Thinking about our dreams for our future when we we’re still a Highschool kids. I got to said my last goodbyes, and congratulated him for almost having a happy family soon. That’s his dream and I’m happy for him, no hate at all. It may sound unfair for his girl that he still asked me for a closure but I guess it’s also good that we talk for the last time, so I could finally let go of what’s hurting me inside and so we couls move on from everything and continue life with someone else.

When we got separated before, i told him that he’s free to find another woman that is more better than me. Sabi niya hahayaan niya ako maging malaya sa gusto ko pero hindi na siya makakahanap ng mas better saakin and he told me he will love me and will never forget me even if im no longer with him. Couldn’t agree more!!! The man I had a situationship with for years still tried to reach out to me(he made another Facebook accnt bc I blocked him)despite the fact that he is already married and has a kid. He couldn’t even respond when I asked him if he is happy with her and his marriage. Long story short, I blocked him again bc I feel bad for his wife. Wherever he is right now, I hope he is doing well and happy. That’s why the song “The Apartment We Won’t Share” resonates with me so well.
