@thinklikealiar: 🙌🏽💖FOLLOW, SHARE and SAVE if this “gets you”. Whenever you see an adult friend group using relational aggression - gossip, cold shoulders, smear campaigns, and exclusion - to keep its members in line, you aren't looking at a tight-knit circle... You’re looking at a group where every single person is deeply insecure. In these types of toxic dynamics, compliance is the price of admission. The ringleader uses what amounts to psychological warfare to maintain control because their fragile ego views authenticity and/or independence as a threat. The thing is, if you like the people in the group, you can trick yourself into thinking one or two of them AREN'T the same as everyone else openly participating. The people following along are just as insecure though. They participate in the gossip and the exclusion because they are terrified of being the next target for exclusion... in a group of "friends" doing harm to each other for sport. It’s a group dynamic built entirely on trauma responses, where everyone is walking on eggshells and calling it loyalty. If you’ve been iced out by a group like this, it usually feels a lot like a personal failure until you recognize it for the badge of honour it truly is. It means you couldn't be controlled by their shared insecurity, and you chose yourself and your wellbeing over delusion. 🫶🏼✨ Hey, I’m Dee. I’m NOT a therapist or Dr of any kind. What if they use their big voice to full on share they don’t want someone included to that person directly? 👀

E :
For those asking, relational aggression is a form of non‑physical aggression that harms others by damaging their relationships or social standing, often using tactics like gossip, exclusion, or spreading rumors, rather than direct physical violence.

This is so accurate!! Instead of only addressing the person you have an issue with people go around and talk to everyone else about it causing division, hate etc

I just walked away from a 25year friend group because I hit hard times and my “value” lowered in thier eyes! And they started to bully me! But I’ve done so much healing work! I just walked away! And found new friends that love me for me! God bless!🙏

Yes. It's also very clearly a space that isn't safe enough for people to communicate with each other if you have a friend and you have a problem you should be able to go to that friend and say this is the situation and this is how I'm feeling about it and I need to talk to you about it and you should be able to address things uncomfortable yes easy not always But you should be able to address an adult mature mutually beneficial relationship where we care about each other's feelings

It started with the group chat when none of them ever replied to me yet when someone else texted they all jumped in on that topic.
