It’s Dinner Time, Y’all! ❤️🍽️ Well, tonight we’re having what I like to call ALMOST homemade! 😂 Because who says everything has to be made from scratch to be delicious?! We’re in Vidalia, Louisiana, right across the Mississippi River from beautiful Natchez, Mississippi, and we’re making ourselves right at home in this motorhome! Tonight I took some good old Idaho instant mashed potatoes and doctored them up with butter, sour cream, and heavy cream. Absolutely DIVINE! Then I took some canned green beans and added Better Than Bouillon, bacon, and a little bacon grease. Delicious! Kenny was supposed to be grilling us some pork chops, but apparently that grill had other plans! 😂 Those pork chops didn’t survive, so we went to Plan B! Some Tyson fully cooked chicken breast from the freezer, warmed up in a skillet with butter and seasoning, and added to a bagged chopped salad with my homemade dressing. And let me tell y’all, it was GOOD! Sometimes you’ve just got to use what you’ve got and make it taste like something special! Especially when you’re cooking in a motorhome! We’re going to spend a few days here in Vidalia, explore Natchez tomorrow, and if we decide we want to stay longer, well, that’s exactly what we’ll do! That’s the beauty of this little adventure we’re on. No big plans, no big hurry, just enjoying ourselves!
