@realtonyy1: No emotional rollercoaster like I promised. Instead I will share that progress in this journey is in fact a rollercoaster. It’s an unavoidable meeting with Grief once a day, sharing with her how much it hurts to have her around but you know she isn’t going anywhere. So you don’t tell her to leave, you let her take you for a ride you didn’t ask for. I used to dread it but now I can see how beautiful the love we had and I get to express gratitude for getting to experience my mother’s love in this lifetime. That’s it :)
