I understand why Zion was concerned about Ginny. After everything he learned, it makes sense that he would be worried and want to protect his daughter. But where I think a lot of viewers get frustrated is with how he handled that concern. Instead of taking time to fully understand everything that was happening, he made decisions while trusting information that involved Gil—a person with a long history of abuse, manipulation, and hurting the people he claimed to love. That's why so many fans reacted so strongly. It wasn't the concern for Ginny that upset them. It was seeing Zion make major decisions that affected both Ginny and Austin while not fully recognizing the danger and influence Gil had in the situation. I can understand Zion's fear, and I can understand his intentions, but I also understand why many viewers see this as one of the biggest mistakes he has made as a parent. For them, the issue isn't that he wanted to protect Ginny it's that his actions had consequences that deeply affected both children and fractured trust in a way that may be difficult to repair.
