y’all realize dogs sleep like 16 hours a day I’m sure the dogs fine it would rather be in a kennel for that long and loved up on the rest of the time and free then in a shelter 24 seven or starving somewhere cold

as ems who also works 12s. my dog is completely used to me being gone for my 12+ hours. house trained, gets fed before and after shift, and holds no resentment for when i’m gone. i promise that dogs are more adaptable than some may think.
