As a pregnant FTM, this is so infuriating. But also.. I love oatmeal creme pies. Now I want an oatmeal creme pie. I don't think anyone should call a postpartum belly an oatmeal creme pie. But to counter this hatred, I will now always think about a beloved treat when I look at my soon to be postpartum belly.

If someone referred to my postpartum belly as an oatmeal cream pie I think that would make me spiral. I struggled so hard with accepting the changes that pregnancy made to my body, I still struggle almost three years later.

I’ve been struggling to accept and somewhat like what I look like now. And I was making decent progress. And then I heard someone call it that, and oh my god I couldn’t stop crying for like 30 minutes. I looked in the mirror and that’s exactly what I saw. People need to stop commenting on pregnant and postpartum bodies.
