If I could go back to my 20s, I'd tell myself these 10 things. 👇 Not advice from a book. From a Korean guy in his 40s who learned most of this the hard way. ✨ Save this. Your future self will thank you. 1. Practice doing things you've never done before. Comfort is familiar. But when life opens a new door, you'll be ready to walk through it without hesitation. 2. Find the exercise that actually fits you. Not what's trending. The one your body knows. Familiarity with movement protects you from injury as you age. 3. Build some muscle now. Even a little. The muscle you build today will carry your energy into your 40s and beyond. It's easier to maintain than to start from scratch. 4. Find your own time, not someone else's. Morning person or night person, stop copying viral routines. Optimize for yourself. Your best hours are yours alone. 5. Build your own way to reset. Stress will always show up. You can't eliminate it. But having a method to process it prevents burnout before it happens. Rest is not doing nothing. It's finding what actually resets you. 6. Learn to celebrate yourself. No achievement is too small. The person who recognizes their own progress is the one who keeps going. 7. Tell the people you love that you love them. What you express comes back to you. And nothing energizes you quite like the love of the people who matter. 8. Stop expecting things from people without saying so. Unspoken expectations lead to silent disappointments. Say what you need clearly, or let it go. People can't read your mind. 9. Your energy is too valuable. Spend it on yourself first. Then give it to the people who add to it, not subtract from it. 10. Stop replaying the past. Start anticipating what's next. What's done is done. The most powerful move is releasing it and showing up curious about what tomorrow holds. One last thing: Your body will age. That's not up to you. But how you think? That's a choice you make every day. I'd rather be someone who manages their mindset than their age. I'm MK from Seoul 🇰🇷 41 now. Still figuring it out. But these 10? I know for sure. Follow if this resonates. #over40 #SelfCare #mindset #agingwell
