@brunchwithbabs: We were long overdue for a relaxing vacation. And going with our dear friends George and Marilyn made it that much more special. We spent part of the week on Santorini at a small hotel called the Andronis which was an amazing experience. It was the perfect location even though our room was 90 steps down from the street level. A good workout was had by all! We feasted on fresh fish the entire time we were there. The highlight of the week was our meal at Armeni’s restaurant which can only be reached by boat and our four hour boat trip around the island which included a beautiful lunch on the Aegean Sea. Athens was more sightseeing, but for older folks, we definitely had to pace ourselves. I’m happy to report we all made it up Acropolis Hill to the Parthenon. That was one incredible experience even though there were times I was ready to just wait for them on the way down. We met our friend, Lina, a native to Athens and a dear friend of the family. We shared one fabulous meal with her at Anthes  and it was such a gift to reconnect. In fact, it was such a gift to run into so many of my online family. I am blessed beyond belief to get to see you no matter where travels take us. We are truly one big beautiful family!
