Mind you: the list pretty much stays the same with slight variations of tasks. He should know what the tasks are and is asking for a list

Or they say your list wasn’t clear and I didn’t know what you meant. You should’ve communicated it better..

I'm well aware that my partner makes significantly more money than me. I'm full time WFH and he's hybrid (3 days WFH) however I work longer hours.
Yet I am expected to do 100% of the household work on top of my job. It's exhausting.

hey so fun fact this work/boss analogy and comparison is disingenuous and wrong because simply your partner is not your boss. your partner has no authority over you. your partner is your equal. so a more apt comparison would be to change the scenario from "boss" to "co-worker".

Every time, I’m like “How would you find the answer to something for work? Do you ask other people to look it up for you? Why is their time important but I am your personal Google?”

I used to live this life. Now, I have a man who FULLY participates in every part of our relationship. Sometimes, I feel worried he might resent me and he never has. He tells me it's just as much his job as mine.. AND he works a tough job all day and he doesn't complain. He says the more we do together, the more time we have together at the end of the day.

I don't think weaponized incompetence is not doing tasks because your partner asked

I don't know what kind of work you did... But every program I worked on did have a detailed to do list. We'd put together the to do list at the start of the program, with all the steps, priority, and dependencies, and then we'd agree who was responsible for each task. We'd keep track of who was working on what on a big board that tracked everything.... maybe a system like that could work?
