the hitbox of the charm was handled by the server and sent the charm where you were facing. However, the flash allowed you to change your looking direction during the cast animation, which means when the server sent the call to show the vfx to your client, you had already started looking in a different direction than when the server sent the hitbox making the vfx look disconnected
