As a bride myself, I found is extremely disappointing and disheartening when my guests only posted photos of themselves or them and their partner after my wedding. It comes off as you only came to my wedding because you wanted a cute photo of yourself or you and your partner all dressed up. Guests should be celebrating, honoring and acknowledging the bride and groom. I saw you take photos of our first dance. I saw you take photos of the reception entrance. I spent all night taking photos WITH YOU on your cellphone. And yes I reposted stories the next morning so the whole internet already saw my dress

Nothing irritates me more than seeing a photo dump from a wedding guest with the caption saying “congrats to the ____s!!” WITH NO PICTURE WITH THE BRIDE AND/OR GROOM! It feels so rude!

When I was a bride I literally did not care. Like I’m so glad my friends got dressed up and took great pictures of themselves at my wedding. It’s really not that deep lol

I think it’s kinda weird when someone posts “congrats Mr & Mrs ____!” And then there’s no pictures of the bride and groom. Feels like telling someone happy birthday and then only posting pictures of myself idk 😭 but at the same time, I had some awful pictures posted of me after my wedding that I didn’t know were taken and I cried about them so, I understand all sides 😅

If the bride or groom is concentrating on this on the honeymoon they’re doing it wrong. It’s ruder to post the bride/wedding details before they do, so I see no issue with solo shots if people want to post quickly.
