Hey! Chicken mom here. Predators will rip through that wire fence. You’re talking about hardware cloth. Definitely buy some 1/4 inch and metal zip ties for more security. Also bury wire at least 12 inches in the ground to keep predators from digging under. I would also get rebar anchor stakes 12 inches to make sure it’s secured on the ground. I had one of those enclosures and the wind will tear it up if not anchored. ❤️🐥

The reason that they’re trying to attack us because she’s sick and usually when there’s a sick chicken in the flock, they will kill them or pester them out of the flock osi no other chickens affected

Saving this video incase we need it for this girl!! We got her among 5 other chicks and we discovered she waddled like a penguin. Then really giving her a good look over her legs are 2 different lengths and she’s definitely smaller than the others. So far she’s eating, drinking and none are messing with her. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

this is so sweet! we have one with a broken leg that sadly healed backwards. she stays on our porch right now and i set her out in a huge bird cage i laid on its side during the day. shes only a month or two old right now but shes the sweetest little girl

i feel like people don’t understand (people who don’t have chickens or ducks or geese or guineas, ect) that if they don’t like one of the chicken they won’t let them near them, attack them, and will kill them if they get the chance💔 i remember my Stepmom had to seperate and put a chicken and a rooster by themselves because they were being bullied out of the coop and on multiple occasions theyd been bleeding. though those chickens have passed since it’s been over ten years we had four roosters last year and three of them would stay in the pasture while bullying certain hens to stay in and the biggest rooster stayed inside and chased the other three out if they tried to come in.
