Noone prepares you or forces you after life after school.They will tell you to study hard get good grades,pass your exams and everything else will fall in place . But when the final bell is ranged with your final paper in your hands. You realise that was the beginning.. life after school is the real stage. School was just a rehearsal. WhatsApp groups that once buzzed with laughter die out slowly . suddenly you are left with yourself. everyday your thoughts keep on baffling your aims bringing out failures in chasing your objectives you thought about in school to live. You're left with your results in your hands looking for doors to open but instead the doors remain shut. Employers want years of experience but you don't have, now you begin to realise opportunities are reserved for those with connections and you begin to understand the painful truth that ; grades don't break away for success. Skills resilience and the surviving spirit always speak louder. The pressure builds. The parents who once encouraged you now look at your unspoken question. What next ? What will you do ? Their silence now pierces your heart down more than words could ever do. You remember their sleepless night.. their sacrifices.. the money they borrowed and the sweat and hustle they went through just to keep you in school. Now their hopes rest on your shoulders. Life after school is not just finding a job. Is about finding yourself. Depression becomes a quiet enemy. The creeping in at night through social media to see friends doing better than you. Doubts become shadow whispering maybe you're not enough. Family gathering feels like exams for everyone measuring your wealth by what you have achieved. But hidden
