idk why these comments are so delusional. if you worked for a small company, and they suddenly absolutely blew up and became a massive company because of something that you directly worked on for them, would you not like a bonus? when the companies worth increased many times over because of what YOU helped do?

The people investing the money are taking all the risk and definitely deserve all the spoils. There is nothing stopping anyone else from investing money for a profit share, but they don't clearly based on the risk. Its a lesson learned to negotiate steps for a bonus based on movie performance; but burning bridges also happens when your role is easily replaceable.
