How bad is the job market? 25% of new Harvard MBAs are UNEMPLOYED and can’t get a job. The social contract of “if you go to college/get an mba you’ll get a job” is busted. It’s GONE. Yes they are going for a very specific high paying kind of job and probably have the means to stay searching for longer than a normal person, but this isn’t unique to Ivy League grads and at some point they’re all going to take jobs they’re “overqualified” for to survive, making it even harder for anyone else looking. Bet they didn’t expect AI to be taking THEIR jobs.
